The MMObjectBuilder class checks if it exists in the database, but actually MMBase should check with the database that the builder exists.
The builder checks if it exists in the storage layer. It's not that strange, I think, for the builder to check that it exists and if not to create itself - imo prettier than that MMBase does this.
