As many have seen as a result of the study done about the eco-system
of mmbase the idea has been hatched to
setup meetings to try improve the eco-system of mmbase. The idea is
to take 2 people from each community (developers,
implementors, users) and work on reshaping things.
To keep the speed up we have talked on irc about who we should send
to these meetings (atleast for the time being) and how we should
convey the topics among ourselfs and have come up with this :
We will have a open irc meeting before and after every meeting to
make sure we have the voice of the developers as best we can.
Michiel Meeuwissen and Daniel Ockeloen will represent us at these new
meetings. The consensus was that Michiel has the best overal view
of the projects and will temper the meetings with practical advice
and that Daniel will stand firm on the point we the developers feel
are most important to us.
let me be very clear this email is nothing more than how only a few
of the developers felt who where on irc, its not a done deal but lets
say a first call if all of you can live with this.
so the question can you live with this in the startup phase of these
new meetings or should we somehow have a election ?
