you create the alias and what version of MMBase are you
using?

I posted this message last week on tyhe users
list but did not get response.
Is any of the developers using mysql as the
database and/or encounterd the issue below ?
The only change I made to get mmbase using mysql
was that I changed the jdbc.xml file to work with mysql. I do not get any
errors starting up and I can create nodes using the editors without any
problem.
But.. when trying to set an alias and saving the
node I get the error :
