Henk,
I used mmbase 1.7.4 final (fresh/clean install)
when I got the error. Using java 1.4.2_05, tomcat 5.0.30 on WinXP
SP2.
I used the standard supplied my_editor when trying
to add aliases.
As there is a 1.8 on its way I downloaded
this morinig the jan 16 nightly build and did the same try.
This build has some trouble getting the basic
examples running (no such resource applications/Community.xml and other
identical messages) but I could create a alias on some of the objects which were
available.
Kind regards,
Herman

Subject: RE: [Developers] Fw: Saving
Alias in mysql
Hi
Herman,
How
do you create the alias and what version of MMBase are you
using?
Kind
regards, Henk.
LS,
I posted this message last week on tyhe users
list but did not get response.
Is any of the developers using mysql as the
database and/or encounterd the issue below ?
The only change I made to get mmbase using
mysql was that I changed the jdbc.xml file to work with mysql. I do not get
any errors starting up and I can create nodes using the editors without any
problem.
But.. when trying to set an alias and saving
the node I get the error :
2006-01-11 17:12:38,341 ERROR
mmbase.module.core.MMObjectBuilder -
Failure(org.mmbase.storage.Stor ageException: Incorrect arguments to
mysql_stmt_execute) inserting
node: prefix='',destination=9:'138',otype=2:'19',owner=1:'system',name=1:'y',number=9:'139' org.mmbase.storage.StorageException:
Incorrect arguments to
mysql_stmt_execute at
org.mmbase.storage.implementation.database.DatabaseStorageManager.create(DatabaseStorageM anager.java:672)
Do I have to update addtional config files to
use mysql ?
Kind regards,
Herman Reintke
