I really think you are just *missing* the point. MMSite is not a templating system, like you seem to expect, but is a set of tools I believe people use very often when building sites. I did not even mention templates but only as a builder/nodetypes. Templates are being defined as template nodes, after which they become visible in the pulldown of your pages nodes, ready to choose. So it may even work together with Magnolia (it may just be the bridge you need between Magnolia and MMBase) or could be integrated in the CMS Container for that matter.

One _could_ add templates to this application, of course. And then it _could_ become a MMBase site example, which this weird (web?) content management system is lacking now for over a decennium. But that is just what one _could_ do of course...
