I did it like this. Because there are now 2 ways in a mmbase.jar from CVS, I submitted a 'bug' to www.mmbase.org/bug that it must be decided before 1.6 release how excactly we are going to do it. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as the DTD's are as resources in the jar. My idea would be to follow Rob's suggesting and remove the config/dtd module from CVS (and have the dtd's as org.mmbase.util.logging.Logging is doing now), but having all dtd's together in mmbase.jar!org.mmbase.resources.dtd still seems to me quite nice too (and easier to implement).
