uptodate. If you fix a bug or add a new feature (only for cvs-head),
please add it to the releasenotes.

Why should we update release notes ?
Because it has to be up to date :)

I supposed that keeping the bug tracker up to date was sufficient.
I supposed that the bug tracker was used to retrieve information for the release notes, or do you need an adjustment to the bug tracker for this ?

At the moment it's to much work to get the information from the bugtracker and I'm afraid this will allways be the case.
You could also use the cvs log for the releasenotes, but there's to much noise in this information (fixed little bugs like typo's are often not very usefull for the releasenotes).

I am not in favour of describing a change in multiple places, and i also think we don't wanna bother developers with it.
It's very easy:

- file a bug in the bugtracker
- fix the bug
- close the bug in the bugtracker
- if it's an import bugfix add it to the releasenotes.

:)
