and I should ofcourse add that I recently swapped the names of 2 aliases,
for example I renamed "test" to "test-old" and "test-new" to "test" using jsp.
nevertheless, getNodeByAlias returns the old node .. (until I restart mmbase)
An object alias can't be changed iirc without restarting MMBase..... Gerard
