In fact, I have already build it into the editwizards we use for our own (Quantiq) projects. It involves adding the htmlArea files and a minor addition to the editwizard stylesheet. After that, htmlArea appears for text input fields having ftype="htmlarea". I also added a MS Word-cleaner to the htmlArea javascript, i.e. when pasting MS Word selections, the generated HTML is automagically and instantly cleaned of all MS Word artifacts. We're willing to donate our code. If there's interest I'll propose it as a hack.
