This since the sample database deliverd with tomcat is hsql and then it would also work when the database is connected to mmbase by a naming resource.
hsql gets distributed with Tomcat? Hsql is the old hypersonic database. This project isn't active anymore, but hsqldb is based upon the hypersonic database.
