what is the filosophy behind the 'daymarks' builder anyway ?
It's a hack because there is no 'createtime' field in object.
!! :-)) all this time i was thinking there was something briljant
about it and i just didnt get the point.
If you want better precision, a createtime field must be added.
Perhaps we
the field types project could create the 'timestamp' field type, and
then
it would be a matter of adding such a field to object.xml only.
by default, I add an "mdate" and a "cdate" field to my mysqltables,
both "timestamp", and in that order. mysql then insures these values
are correct (because an insert sets both timestamp fields,
but an update only refreshes the first timestamp field, the mdate )
the values coming from age() are pretty wrong.
I suppose something went whoopy :-|
