on oracle. Which version? 8I and up and maybe support for the OCI and
thin driver. I don't mind spending some time on the oracle
implementation.


Im willing to put time into it, but i will only write it for the OCI (dont get the other one running :p)
Should it have the same database design as the oracle-hack of me? (with views)
Should we use the large object interface?


ps: I get sick of the "mmbase has not been started and cannot be started by this class" message, can this check be removed? This way i can run the program from a plain old class with the mmci, without previously doing a lot of core calls
