3. The new email application will replace the present email application.
Actualy, I think we agreed that this should be a vote, precisely because of backkward compatibility issues, so people do have a chance to react should they need to. Ofcourse if nobody ASKS vor a vote (despite me having mentioned it to them several times over the past week), there is no vote and the chance cannot be made.
So I strongly suggest the people who desire this change make a call for a vote.
