The condition also happens to captures typerel. I don't think there is a better way to distinguish relation builders at the moment, though ofocurse we can add a mayCreateRelation() method to NodeManager. Before anyone suggests it: that 'isRelationManager()' generally returns false for a insrel-derived NodeManager (a Relationmanager is a NodeManager extended with typerel/reldef information). Gomez
