Is there space for that in the 1.8 relase plan?
Ittwa sbriefly mentioned yesterday on the devmeeting, which was actually pretty good for those who found out it was in Hilversum - I hope nobody ended up in Zoetermeer, at least.
Anyway, the impression I had was that people were at best luke-warn for Maven (and some actually thought it would craete only a bunch of problems).
In general, most people found the current build system (and, after recent fixes, the nightly build) was satisfactory.
