Hello all, In Dutch Parliament there is an extra meeting on software patents this afternoon at 16.30h. The minister of economic affairs, Brinkhorst, agreed with the European proposal, just over a week ago. Nevertheless, some parties consider his support 'not in line' with former statements, and demand an explanation. I did my utmost in the past few months to stop our minister, and this week I've actively given input to several Dutch MP's for this debate. Unfortunately, I don't expect much to happen. The chance a majority will force the minister to withdraw his support, is small.
