Hi All

just a suggestion (albeit from a lesser mortal) - to put the class and
function name into errors. I've struggled for a while trying to find the
problem I was experiencing, for it to end up being something completely
different to what I had interpreted the error as. Had I known the function
that threw the error, it would've saved me a lot of time.

What you could do is enable more verbose logging in log4j.xml;
You can specify the way messages look in your logs while debugging.
Your errormessages from you application server then look like:

10:28:28,662 DEB 12566 kb org.mmbase.security.MMBaseCop reload.? - Changing the
security configration now

Or do you mean some other means of error reporting?

Emile
