we have tested functionality Coverage warehouse in 3.0 and it does not work. Below is compared this functionality in 2.5 and 3.0.
Version 2.5. Chosen warehouses can be assigned to one coverage warehouse. Master plan calculates this grouping as one warehouse with summary coverage quantity. Setup of this method: a. items/tab Coverage/Coverage by Warehouse b. Setup/Warehouses/tab Master Planning/field Coverage warehouse - enter to this field main warehouse Version 3.0. This version knows only Main warehouse. According to the document What's new in 3.0 Main Warehouse works as Warehouse to refill or Coverage warehouse. The activated parameter Refilling provides functionality of Warehouse to refill (i.e. generating of transfer orders). Deactivated parameter Refilling should indicate the warehouse as Coverage warehouse.
INVENTORY CALCULATION IN 3.0 IGNORES COVERAGE WAREHOUSE AND GENERATES PLANNED ORDERS IDIVIDUALLY FOR EACH WAREHOUSE.
