Got some news from our consultant.  They told us that our environments are SP1 but not the AOS and that's causing the problem...  I not sure to understand completely but we'll see when they try to correct the problem.

try 'Administration/Setup/System/Check-lists/Prevent startup of lists'
after a shutdown and new start of axapta (incl. AOS) you should be
able to use the document handling
