To my knowledge, when working in the DAT company, application objects are
not cached, so you may see a performance hit (please correct me if I am
wrong).

i think working in DAT company is not the best way to start in MBS
Axapta, but i have seen many clients ( from others MBS Partners)
using DAT company,...so i guess you can use it without thread.
ie. a client is working during 2 years in a intensive way ..and
nothing strange has append.....yet.
