Wanted to ask some question on Machine Date: today() and System Date:
systemDateGet(). To my own understanding, machine date refers to the
regional date setting of the client computer which axapta is running
on, while system date is an internal axapta date function that can be
changed accordingly within axapta (defaults with the machine date value).
However, if we are talking about axapta implementation on an AOS
setup, will the system date of any axapta client be synchronized
automatically with the AOS system date? I can recall that there are
some similar incidents of the synchronization that I have mentioned
when working on a particular project.
I could not remember for sure if it was setup in a windows domain
environment, but could this be the reason for the synchronization to
happen? By right, the synchronization should not happen?
and if it is true that the AOS will ship the server system date to the
client, is there anyway to stop the synchronization from happening?
thank you in advanced.
Regards,
Jason
