  thanks for your reply. what i need is i have
described below.

There is a team working in a project for a defined
functionality.
once a specific level of the functioanlity has been
reached it will be identified as a version

for ex
u have a equipment master

it may be called as equipment master version 1.0 when
it is fully finalised.Then when u extend the
functioanlity say designer for equipment the equipment
master as ver 1.1 which will have both equipmnetn
master of v1.0 and designer

Also every time the programmer changes the codes the
comment should be automaticaly included in that method
that the code was modified on so and so date and by so
and so user for future reference

How can i do this.Did i want to do any seetings in the
application
or i have to write any class for that.
