Hi Venkat,

If your computer is in the domain, you can install Dynamics AX to Windows
XP.

Log on the your XP with domain acoount, and just install. Don't worry about
'Windows 2003 required' message it will be installed successfuly.

Dear Venkat,

Did you try to install it on XP?? if you did and it didnt work fine.. then
you have to to install again without uninstalling the first AOS (named
Compnay1 by default). Restart, it will difinatly work fine. Im using Ax 4.0
SP1 on my windows xp SP2. it works just fine.

Actually windows server 2003 is needed only when you have to use some
companents in Ax 4.. like enterprise portal and others.

Best regards,,,,

Hi,
No, You can't use Windows XP for Dynamics Ax 4.0 AOS. You have to use
Windows server 2003 Enterprise/ Standard Edition with Service Pack 1.

Venkat
