If your computer is in the domain, you can install Dynamics AX to Windows XP. Log on the your XP with domain acoount, and just install. Don't worry about 'Windows 2003 required' message it will be installed successfuly. Restart, it will difinatly work fine. Im using Ax 4.0 SP1 on my windows xp SP2. it works just fine. Actually windows server 2003 is needed only when you have to use some companents in Ax 4.. like enterprise portal and others.
