Hi, In Ax 3, we have two project with the integration czech dis layer version into standard. We merged czech dis layer into var and use it with german dis layer.

We decided to convince the customer to implement 2 databases. Our reason: Even if you implement expensively all easteuropean features into the application, the cost of administrative maintenance after going live is to high. I think, with your region-specific features it 's the same case. Our partner in Czech Republic made an implementation consolidating two region-specific layers. The project had never gone live. If you hear of any success-story regarding this issue, I would be very interested. I think, it would be wise, to wait until microsoft consolidates all region specific Layers in the sys-layer.
