Hello,

We also need to move our AX V3.0 to a new SQL 2005 DB.

We're still running AX V3.0 SP2.
We tried pointing our Application to our Restored DB in SQL 2005
(but running it Native mode - which means it's basically still a
SQL2000 DB) and had serious performance issues – opening a form
would basically kill Axapta. It was inoperable.

I know we have to install Kernell Rollup 2 with Axapta 3 to be able
to use SQL 2005 (not in native mode).
But the below aricle feed has me worried.
Are there any other issues that you can make me aware off before we
start migrating?

In the meantime - how was the performance issues solved with regards
to the below query (AX 3 Kernell Rollup 2 – SQL 2005)?

Regards
Melandie
