Wilson, If you decide on recording the live streaming and offer podcasting, Amazon Cloudfront has started offering streaming services. I wrote up a few blog posts on integrating Drupal with Cloudfront streaming for video, repairing an iPod video. The quality of the video isn't the best, but you'll get the idea. The same concept could be applied to podcasting too.
