Exactly. I used MTR to monitor the connectivity to a random host on the internet as I saw everything was damn slow and I had many drops to all the hops, including my gateway (which shouldn't happen at all!). I am connected via wireless, that's why I referred to the new wifi driver. Load average was fine and my cacti didn't show any spikes during the time of the problem. The problem persists until now and repeats every once in a while. That's the card I have on my laptop: [ 23.519178] iwl3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG Network Connection driver for Linux, in-tree:ds It's running in mixed g/n mode but I'll try to switch it to G only as I have a couple of devices not N compliant.
