Did you try a static IP on your PC and connecting to the LAN port? The 2.0g should still respond to the static IP you configured for it, even though its wifi connection failed (It's just DHCP that doesn't work, since the DHCP server is at the other end of the broken wifi link). > 2) No login/password on LAN connection during 169.254.255.1 IP mode. Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem is here. I'll probably not dig into this now, since I haven't worked with lucid at that level yet.
