Hello guys
I found an untouched Fonera 2.0g that I'd like to give it a spin, since after a long wait there is a new firmware to try :)
This one had the original firmware with the previous white interface. I went back to find a Firmware with .fon extension that is accepted by the old firmware, so I uploaded 20081222_FON2202_2.2.1.0_TANTOR.fon .
I waited approximately 30 minutes, the Fonera was still active and replied to pings, so I decided to flash it again, as soon as I did it, it rebooted and went to safe mode (power and wireless blinking orange).

I connected to 192.168.1.1 and logged in with admin and serial number. Since it asked again for a FON file, I uplaoded 20081222_FON2202_2.2.1.0_TANTOR.fon again. But after a couple of minutes it says:

This is not a FON upgrade image or hotfix. Retry with another file

I've tried to upload other versions, like 20081222_FON2202_2.2.1.0_TANTOR.image, 20090421_FON2202_2.2.5.0_Flipper_DEVELOPER.tar.gz,

FON2202_2.3.7.0_beta2_DEV.tgz but the same errors appears.

Can you suggest me anything to restore it? i hope there is a easier way to do it without redboot, any advice is appreciated.
I remember I had problems two years ago with another Fonera but then I managed to upgrade it to Flipper in some way with command line, but I don't remember anymore.

Thanks
Niccolo' Gallarati
