Lets just go ahead and commit the fix to the data. Moving forward, we will have more issues like this and we need to be able to apply the needed pattern changes to the DeviceMap data. The maintainers should be mindful of this.

So it looks like we now have the following ready for release:

Javascript: browser map
Java: device map api
.NET/VB: device map api
DeviceMap data

Should we go ahead and update the website accordingly, announce our official release, and start supporting this for potential users?

I agree.
It does mean we'll have to keep a list (device - pattern) 'fixes' made
to the builder resources and somehow incorporate that in the loader.
