Eberhard, Thanks for the pointer. Is there a chance the ".NET Doc" could eventually be ported to the DeviceMap site, too? The documentation and site is currently hopelessly outdated. It still says "Now (March 2012)..." or so.
Judging from http://www.ducis.net/Static/docs/dotnet/w3c/html/37f28125-f0eb-7f4c-c7d1-dc9f9a5ca5a2.htm a part of the .NET API shows a striking similarity with the W3C implementations here: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/devicemap/trunk/devicemap/java/simpleddr/src/main/java/org/apache/devicemap/simpleddr/model/ That's a good thing, so if this represents the .NET part of an anticipated DeviceMap 1.0.0 release a Java equivalent brings the right experience to users, which would exactly be the "Common feeling" you mention. Aside from Microsoft specific oddities like IProperty (something you only see at Eclipse in the Java world, I know not a single Apache project that would use such naming convention[?]) Are you able to change JIRA tickets, at least those you created to be assigned to yourself (e.g. a ".NET port" task,...)
