The large Number of "desktopDevice" answers your question and nobody
suggested to define the core of that in patch, but both the Entry called
"patchDevice" there has little value without a bit of explaining, nor does
"genericDesktop" have a real value in the Main XML file without attributes
of its own;-)
The parent of all desktop things could be desktopDevice, the current setup
at least makes an "incomplete" impression, just like some devices with
missing width or height for whatever reason.
