Okay,

I've done a completely new install an installed all the options for the
MySQL and PHP sections on Dan's Page. I didn't install IMP or Horde

I didn't install the Postgres stuff either

I did intall all other optional files, and rebooted the server.

I installed phpnuke into the primary site. I changed the Nuke config file
to show no banners and to go http://trashtalk.myip.org. I can get to the
admin page no problem, however once I login the web server reports child pid
xxx exit segmentation fault (11).

I left the mysql stuff at localhost, root,"", nuke. I haven't changed
password on the database yet. I'm operating mostly on the defaults.

any ideals??

On Dan's page the is a section called "Optional files" did you install at
least
the mysql module from that? I have seen several people miss that one and
have
similar problems.

But no, I have set it up on at least 5 machines and it always worked the
first
time. And one of those was a fresh clean new e-smith 4 install with only
Dan's
stuff installed.
