I installed on my home server, a DecPX XL590 with scsi hard drive and ide
Exabyte Tr4i tape drive as a prelude to using at the office.
Backup seems to be working although I found that I needed to edit two files
in /etc/e-smith/templates - the 10Device file in flexbackup.conf directory
and 20probe-tape in sbin/backup directories to see /dev/nht0. After this a
backup configured through the web admin interface seemed to work and also a
backup started from the shell. I say "seemed" as I have yet to restore from
this backup to verify the data.
Any suggestions so I don't need to edit files?
