News Server on e-smith ?

For our small computer software development business, I am thinking of
adding a user-help-user support option based on a news paradigm.

The solution I would most like would be a solution which provides access via
traditional news readers, and also a web interface (both working together
seamlessly - yeah, right !!)

Does anyone know of a package providing (or attempting to provide) the above
Nirvana? Any and all comment, including "get a life" welcome.
