There appears to be a way for me to get everything I want.
I will need to enable a news server on my box - does anyone have a preferred
program for this? Security issues ??
Then PHP-Nuke as mentioned by Garret Aott
Then an addition to this from:
http://floh.gartenhaus.net/newsportal/index-english.php3
Which is a Web <-> News translator.
It seems to work VERY quickly. The test / demo groups accessed from this
site are very fast in any case.
Thanks, I'll report my work as time goes on.
Regards,
Hugh
