If you're considering installing GCC, please read the FAQ entry at
http://www.e-smith.org/faq.php3#8q7 and make sure you understand why we
don't recommend putting GCC on your e-smith system.
If you still absolutely must have it, then it will require installing
quite a large number of packages. You can get them from the same place
you got gcc (presumably a Red Hat CD or website) and you'll have to
either install them all in the order specified by their requirements, or
turn off requirements checking.
I still say don't do it -- do your development on a Red Hat 7.0 system
instead and build RPMs as described in our developer howto documents.
