The setting is only relevant if you choose ETRN mode.

It is only saved if you chose ETRN mode. A later version of that page
will hide that option if you are not using ETRN.

Dean - if your ISP can do ETRN, all you need to do is configure ETRN mode
as above. Mail will be delivered directly while you're online and queue
at your ISP while you're offline. Your server will then pick it up via
ETRN when the link comes up.

Most ISPs require a static IP to support ETRN.
