I mean when uploading them. My main desktop machine is a win2k sp2
box. When I go into the Printers control panel and select "properties"
for the printer on the e-smith server, it opens the properties sheet.
If I go to "Sharing" and click on "Additional Drivers", it lets me check
whatever checkboxes I want, and acts like it's copying the driver files
to the server. No error message is displayed (except for it incessantly
asking for the location of files when I've already told it where to find
them), but the files aren't sent to the e-smith box, and the next time I
click on "Additional Drivers", the boxes I checked aren't checked.
Interestingly enough, I just tried it from my test machine, and it
seems to have worked--the box stayed checked when I went back to
Additional Drivers, and the files (about 1.7MB worth) were actually
copied to the e-smith server. Wierd--AFAIK, I did everything the same
there. I'm reinstalling a test machine to make sure it'll install them
correctly.
