Have people had experience on this list of using RAS servers like a Shiva to
provide remote dialin access to the e-smith network? If so I'd appreciate
feedback on an issues encountered/pitfalls to be aware of.

I've worked with these under NT domains before and they are ultra-reliable. In
theory implementing one in an e-smith environment should be as straight-
forward. You allocate them a small internal range and set other dhcp settings
and authentication and the logon to the network like any other lan connected
pc, getting fileshare access and internet gateway access etc.

I need to setup a dialing pool with at least two inbound lines so I can't use
the e-smith itself for this even if it permitted easy RAS dialing configuration
which it doesn't. Thanks in advance.
