Another option that would be nice is Network UPS Tools
(http://www.exploits.org/nut).

It is a client server setup that can handle multiple UPS, weird configurations
(like the HP Netservers that can live with two out of three power supplies,
but only have two cables, so primary is still key, and secondary is
irrelevant), support for Windows clients over the network, and lots of
different UPSen. Even handles USB UPSes, although you'll need a 2.4 kernel for
that. Also supports web based reporting.

I have looked at doing some Mitel SME work for NUT, but I don't know perl (and
a decent configuration will need plenty of setup) and the RPMs have fallen
into disarray.
