On my machine, I've templated out the roaming profiles parameters in the smb.conf fragments. I was simply making a point that by adding a profiles option in the server manager, "fiddling" with the smb.conf and/or associated fragments could be minimized.
Not sure what you mean by your statement. On the Win NT and Win 2000 workstations in my office, I can't edit the setting of samba domain user accounts. Regards, Greg J.
