I have been having a play with 5.1beta1 and came across this problem with the User-password panel. When I clicked the change password button I got the following error on the browser and in the admin_error log. It did change the password though. Software error: Failed to set Unix password for account xxxxx. For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([EMAIL PROTECTED] ), giving this error message and the time and date of the error. and in admin_error log [Fri Nov 30 23:38:26 2001] userpassword: Failed to set Unix password for account xxxxx. The same error occurs when using the contributed user-manager panel. They both use the same *userpassword script. No problems when changing password via the server-manager. Secondly I noticed that when using the MP3 blade my browser did not update and I had to hit the update link. I am using IE6. It does look very flash tho. Thirdly I noticed that there is still the problem of browser time-outs after 5 minutes during large backup Restore or Verify unless you use IP address:980 instead of domain-name/server-manager. I have done both an upgrade from SME 5.0 upgrade3 and a clean install. Cheers, Jon Blakely
