I have found the 'mku' (make_uninstall) very useful, it could now make rpm, deb, tgz packages of what ever you install. It monitors a command like 'make install', you can use other commands, it detects where files are put, what dir are made.... and then ask you if you would like to make an install package(rpm, tgz, deb) of what you just install. check it out. http://freshmeat.net/projects/make_uninstall/ Placido Sanchez [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.geocities.com/lapsch -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
