To further try to pin point this issue: E-smith release = 4.1.2 Email to unknown users: = Return to sender I reported this was noticeable behaviour with mailing lists messages. Could this be the key? Tomorrow I can request the client forward copies of the postmaster error reports if this would help to review. The client uses POP3 so the messages are not available at the server currently but are in the admin's Outlook personal store.
