Robert,

In an EXTREMELY bizarre bit of synchronicity, Zac Sprackett, our sales
engineer, happened to find himself in the credit union of the Ottawa
police department last night at 10pm **adding Token Ring support** to
their SME Server. I cannot even begin to estimate the probability of these
two things happening at the same time... just too bizarre...

In any event, he has already done the work and said to me that he would
send out to this list some notes and/or write up a HOWTO that would
describe the process.

Having said that... flipping to my product management hat, I cannot
say now if Token Ring support is something we will directly add into
the product anytime soon... even though Zac did it, his solution *would*
require some engineering/testing time and has to be juggled with all
the other priorities and feature requests... but at least thanks to
Zac we can give those folks who want to use TR some guidance.

Stay tuned...
Dan
