This mail sounded to me like someone was trying to figure out if it was a
bug or intended for some reason, or perhaps he misconfigured something in
the new release and was trying to find out.

That is a good example of an excellent user who to tries to determine if
they should waste your time and resources with a bug report. I wish all my
customers were so careful.

If you read it and it sounded like a bug to you how about you say that, its
what he was trying to figure out anyway I am guessing:

"Yes, that doesn't sound right, it should be there, as always, please also
report it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] so the right folks can follow up, thank you."

would have gone a lot further than a sarcastic chide.

It would have answered his question and treated him with respect instead of
neither of those.

I know that 'working' lists like these for a business such as Mitel is hard
and grueling day in and day out and I think the folks at Mitel to a very
good job at it overall and I for one appreciate it.

But some of it is comming off as hostile no matter how well intended it may
be.

And a big thank you to all those non-Mitel employees who contribute here, I
have learned a lot over the past year or so.

blake
