I had a small problem with DHCP on SME5, but on an unsupported
configuration, so I didn't file a bug report.
I had two internal lans and two intenal nics, I wanted to offer dhcp service
to both.
dhcp-2 never worked, as soon as I installed dhcp-3 it worked without any
change to config files.

/etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd for version 2 has a route to work around some linux
problems, while version 3 simply starts dhcpd.
I tried removing route but didn't work.

dhcp-3 will probably go into next redhat release, hopefully also into sme.
It's considered stable, I think.

Scott, if you want to give it a try, search the archives for a small dhcp-3
howto.

Ciao,
Filippo
