Hi Charlie,

> What hardware does 4.1.2 work with which SME5 doesn't?

Well, there are 3 reasons we still use 4.1.2

        1) Some hardware is not supported (you know, manufacturers just release
drivers for an standar RH 7.0)
        2) Very heavy customization of the system. We heavely customized 4.1.2
release. At that moment, most of the contribs were done for 4.1.2, ...
        3) We don't see too much NEW value in 5.0 (or SME) release, at least at this
point (it seems the new release would need a look). It was too buggy when we
started our customization process AND most of the real value has gone
propietary and closed source with a very step price for our target market
(mainly SOHO in SPAIN and here things are quite different than in USA (do you
know we have the second highest piracy rate in the world???))

Besides that, we consider 4.1.2 as the most stable release of this software
and we will use it untill a new one really adds new value (for example Samba
2.2 and ISDN support are starting to enter new releases, quotas, etc). Once
they reach that point we will surely change all to that new release. The only
thing that really convinced us were blades and you people don't give "the
community" some guidance about how to make them :'( (that was a little slap
in the bottom :)))

  Regards.
