This discussion comes up every so often about using ibays for applications.
IMO this really is never advisable. Ibays are meant for ease of use. This
is fine for a normal admin that needs an easy way to set an app up a samba
share. However a developer should not use an ibay for an application.

I suggest a powerful application like phpmyadmin should never be in an
ibay. I'll continue to suggest no application should ever be placed in an
ibay. Of course these are just my opinions :-)

If you look at any of my contribs, I do not use ibays. A good example is
my phpmyadmin contrib which shows you how to securely deploy this
application outside of an ibay into /opt/administration/myphpadmin, where
you require a secure SSL connection and admin login/password to gain
access.
